Our Mission
At A Bark Above, we believe every dog deserves thoughtful, individualized care—whether it's for a fresh groom or a peaceful stay on our farm. We blend professional skill with instinctive understanding to help your dog feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
The Farm
Located on a 7-acre farm in the Mount Pleasant area of Roanoke County, your pet will feel like they have gone to summer camp instead of a boarding kennel. With cage-free boarding, your dog will have acres of space to play and explore. Our little farm has many different farm animals for your dog to be exposed to and therefore providing socialization, exercise, and mental stimulation all day long.
Our pet Philosophy
Individual care is a priority for each unique dog that visits us. Just like humans, every dog is different so we provide custom individual care to ensure they are as comfortable as possible.
We also know that it is not easy for you to leave your pet while you are away. Our unique cage free boarding will assure you that your animal is in the best care possible and is treated as well as you treat them when you are home.
